Question of the Week!

I would like to spark up a discussion concerning the diagram on the left. Do you think this "rule" to dating someone is true for the most part? Can you really have it all?

i believe you can have all three, otherwise you're biased against good looking people. there are also ugly people who are emotionally unstable or unintelligent. it's just harder to find all three in one package. if everyone had a 50% chance of being yes, the chances of finding a person with all three is (1/2)^3 so 1/8 would have those traits. Of course the chances of a "perfect" person drops much more when the odds of one trait are lower. If only one in four people had each of the above traits, it would be 1/64 people that had all 3.

so the question is not can you have it all, the question is: are you going to settle? or do you know what you're looking for?

Of course it's possible. Is this person hard to find? Who knows.. I'm sure it'll be easier to find this person if the words "enough" with a question mark at the end follow each of those triangle points which goes back to Byran's point asking if people are willing to settle.

It's possible to find. The answer: yourself. At least I think I am all three. haha

Eh it's possible. It's just incredibly difficult to find someone that's equilateral. There's a lot that are isosceles or scalene. But it's not as absolute in the objective view of the triangle. Someone's isosceles can be someone else's scalene. To each their own. As for me, not to brag, but there's been many a times that I've been called a SQUARE! (;
